If you collect data using the ODK platform, you know that ODK Aggregate is the server that the ODK Collect mobile app downloads new forms from and sends completed forms to. ODK Aggregate is also where you can visualize and export your data. You can install ODK Aggregate on a computer using Tomcat or in the cloud using Google App Engine, but both of these installation methods come with big challenges.
If you use Tomcat, the install will require time and technical expertise that you don't have. If you use Google App Engine, you will be giving up control over where your sensitive data is stored.
At Nafundi, we think our ODK Aggregate VM solves many of these challenges. The VM is a fully-configured install of Aggregate that runs on any computer (desktop, laptop, server). It requires very little setup, works well without Internet connectivity, and gives you complete control over your data collection campaign.
Regardless of who you are, we think the ODK Aggregate VM is the easiest way to install a copy of Aggregate you control. Try it today at https://gumroad.com/l/odk-aggregate-vm!
